CFDA Awards 2011 - The Nominees

Hello my readers!

This year the CFDA awards will take place in New York  on June 6.
Below you can look up all the nominees, that were announced a week ago. I think that it's really weird we can find Lady Gaga on the list of the nominees. She's nominated for the Fashion Icon Award. The absolutely most normal reaction to that information would be: 'What? Lady Gaga, isn't she singing? What has that to do with the CFDA Awards?' And that's true. I mean 'til now the Fashion Icon Award went to people like Sarah Jessica Parker (in 2004), Kate Moss (in 2005) and to Iman (last year). Those are all Fashion Icons, what the prize says, too. But can Lady Gaga follow those great women? NO, I don't think so! For me she or what she wears is just savorless. What do you think, is that a good nomination or not?
